From akpm@linux-foundation.org Mon Mar 26 22:53:33 2007 From: Sam Ravnborg Date: Mon, 26 Mar 2007 21:53:30 -0800 Subject: pci: do not mark exported functions as __devinit To: greg@kroah.com Cc: akpm@linux-foundation.org, sam@ravnborg.org Message-ID: <200703270553.l2R5rUIw008519@shell0.pdx.osdl.net> From: Sam Ravnborg Functions marked __devinit will be removed after kernel init. But being exported they are potentially called by a module much later. So the safer choice seems to be to keep the function even in the non CONFIG_HOTPLUG case.
