Because it can be frustrating that noone applies a really trivial kernel patch.

If you aren't sure whether a patch is trivial, it most likely isn't...
How to send trivial patches?
Send the patches to the people listed as maintainers in the MAINTAINERS
file in the kernel sources with Cc's to
linux-kernel@vger.kernel.org and
trivial@kernel.org.
When will my patch be applied?
Usually during the development of the kernel after the next kernel
(e.g. if 2.6.24 is the latest kernel, your
patch will most likely go into 2.6.26).
