Download linux-fullhist.tar.bz2, which is a linux kernel git repository with the complete history from 0.0.1 to 3.0 (making things like "git annotate" a lot mroe useful). This tarball contains a .git directory which updates itself from Linux's upstream when you "git pull". To use it:

• Download the tarball, extract, and cd into it
• git checkout -f
• git pull

Then use it like any other kernel git repo

I maintain the linux kernel documentation page. (Note: "maintain" is a strong word.)

Go to aboriginal linux for cross compilers for various targets, and Linux system images (with native toolchains) bootable under QEMU. This is my main hobby project.
