Processor Throttling States (T-states)

Less effective than P-states at saving energy
P-states reduce frequency and lower voltage
T-states reduce frequency only

Kernel processor driver uses in Thermal emergency
p4_clockmod (obsolete) uses T-states also

Can be used "manually" from user-space
/sys/class/thermal/cooling_device*/
/proc/acpi/processor/*/throttling
