The means that the following sequence KVM_SET_REGS (rflags.vm=1) KVM_SET_SREGS (cr0.pe=1) Ends up with rflags.vm clear due to KVM_SET_SREGS triggering enter_pmode(). KVM can only cope with all zeros or all ones, so it will inject a #GP into the guest, which will let it panic. So lets add a quirk to the quirk and ignore this single cleared bit. Real fix is to count the number of affected segments and prevent the problem completely. Fix this by simply using probe_kernel_address() when we rewind the frame pointer. This issue will have a much more proper fix in the next version of the perf_arch_fetch_caller_regs() API that will only need to rewind to the first caller.
